We Elevate... Your Responsibilities

In this exciting role, you will drive digital transformation with our Global Reporting Solutions Team based in Ebikon (Switzerland). As a BI Consultant, you will be building up valuable business insights knowledge to create impactful reports and lead the migration of reporting solutions at Group level to Power BI. You will be gathering requirements and designing best-in-class Power BI reports in collaboration with experts from different parts of our business. You will be further developing processes and tools to increase delivery quality and speed by implementing a new Group Reporting and Consolidation solution in an agile way.

Your Main Challenges Include

• Develop strategies and processes for effective data analysis and reporting in the Group Management Information System (Group MIS) and its integrated budgeting and forecasting process including assurance of the accuracy and quality of the Group MIS
• Design new impactful reports in co-creation for our Group management cockpit together with global business and lead users in design thinking sessions
• Find visualization solutions that fit to the underlying data model and technical aspects of Power BI
• Demo your new or enhanced reports to gather user feedback so that we ensure usefulness and impact of our Global Reporting solutions
• Support Global Controlling in the preparation of the budgeting and forecasting process
• Contribute to the finance transformation strategy of the Schindler Group including driving the change management within the organization

We are looking for a people-minded technologist, who is passionate about analytics and reporting, comfortable with driving change, a solid problem-solver, with proven ability to operate and deliver in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, all the while meeting our high-quality standards. You should also have a well-rounded background to balance the line between IT and finance.

Further Requirements May Include

• At least 2-3 years of experience in various BI projects with solid knowledge in one of the leading BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Qlik or Tableau) for data analytics, visualizations, reporting.
• Strong expertise in Group MIS, Group Reporting and Business Intelligence (BI) matters, consolidation know-how is considered as an asset
• Strong problem solver and ability to translate business needs to impactful reports.
• SAP knowledge (in one or more modules: FICO/MM, SD, Contracts) and commercial background in Group Accounting and financial accounting is a plus.
• Highly organized; able to structure and manage large quantities of complex information. Knowledge of Confluence and Jira software Scrum knowledge is a plus.
• Fluency in English and proactive communication effectively with all levels of staff and management.
