We are currently representing a leading £20bn hedge fund who are looking to add a Trade Analyst for their Digital Assets Team, to support a portfolio manager based in the Geneva office.

The Role

  • Gather, digest and communicate information flow from the market
  • Gather relevant research and be on top of latest market developments
  • Execute Crypto trades including spot and DeFi trades
  • Withdraw/deposit tokens between trading venues as well as custody solutions
  • Other features include coordination and cooperation of the work flow related to front-end execution

Requirements

  • At least 2 years’ experience in finance or digital asset market
  • Strong educational background with degree(s) in STEM subject
  • Must be interested in the protocolsand what’s been happening in the crypto ecosystem
  • Be plugged into the crypto ecosystem – do you know what the coins are, have an understanding of Defi, etc.?
  • Will have crypto knowledge gained from PA trading
  • Strong interest in crypto/digital asset classes with experience of researching protocols and aspects of digital asset markets
  • Understand the projects they are invested in, perform research on Twitter / Discord
  • Ability and willingness to build relationships internally and externally
  • Must have a good attitude, be proactive and savvy
  • Some financial experience is helpful – know what the instruments are i.e. a future vs an option
  • Advanced Excel and basic programming skills, ideally we have Python/ Coding Experience
