As part of our growth strategy, we are actively seeking a talented individual to join our team and contribute to our success.Role Overview: As a Due Diligence Director, you will play a critical role in evaluating potential in-licensing transactions for biosimilars. You will lead cross-functional teams in conducting scientific and technical evaluations, ensuring comprehensive reviews and providing accurate recommendations. Your expertise in drug development, coupled with your strong leadership skills, will be instrumental in driving the success of our due diligence activities.Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage cross-functional due diligence teams in evaluating external partnering opportunities, ensuring timely and robust evaluations.
  • Conduct primary and confirmatory due diligence evaluations, addressing key scientific and technical questions.
  • Collaborate closely with the Business Development and Licensing (BD&L) team to develop an integrated approach for opportunity review and evaluation.
  • Coordinate the review and communication of scientific and technical due diligence findings, ensuring accuracy and fair balance.
  • Develop and align risk management plans, taking into consideration feasibility, uncertainties, and competitive challenges.
  • Contribute to the overall deal-making recommendations, working closely with the BD&L and Commercial teams.
  • Collaborate with Finance to develop comprehensive and accurate development budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with confidentiality obligations and handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment and encourage open communication and resolution of issues.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Development BD&L function and share best practices within the organisation.
Qualifications And Experience
  • Doctoral or equivalent degree in life science combined with business management training or experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 years of extensive experience in biosimilar and pharma drug development across various disciplines and stages.
  • Proven track record in contributing to in-licensing, M&A, and due diligence activities.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to build collaborative relationships across functions and organisations.
  • Advanced planning and tracking abilities, including experience with project management tools.
  • Well-organised with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise effectively.
  • Coaching skills to mentor and guide team members.
  • Fast learner with the ability to quickly grasp new projects and involve the right team members at the right time.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Sound judgement in identifying and communicating risks and issues to management.
