Description

Develop a strategic approach to prospective client engagement, execute on delivering a seamless experience to a new client and lead & grow our EU BD efforts as we scale applications of Secret Computing across enterprise data users. Operating remotely and working across EMEA, we are looking for you to be based out of or near our EU HQ in Lausanne, Switzerland.

You’re a fit for this role at Inpher if you’re natively curious and eager to learn, then explain, how unanswered data security and analytical challenges across industries can be addressed with a unique solution. You will work closely with the VP of BD and Solution Specialists to respond to and develop new business opportunities, articulate optimal market applications, and deliver on customer requirements to expand Inpher’s leading position in the emerging category of Secret Computing and Privacy Enhanced Technologies. Prior experience in consulting, software sales, enterprise business development and specifically deep experience in data science & analytics required. Backgrounds in mathematics, cybersecurity or data privacy appreciated. Experience and familiarity with Privacy Enhanced Technologies preferred.

Requirements

Responsibilities:
  • Customers, Partners and Product
    • Cultivate new customer relationships and close deals with mutual value.
    • Expand current customer engagements and provide market feedback and developments to product teams.
    • Develop a keen intuition of the product(s) and earn the respect of technical stakeholders and buyers (CDO, CDS, CIO).
    • Identify and engage strategic partners that balance tactical opportunities with long term value.
  • Market Development
    • Monitor and act on Privacy Preserving ecosystem developments; Privacy Enhanced Technologies, Machine Learning, Predictive Analytics, Data Privacy, Cybersecurity, etc. are your intellectual playground.
    • Quantify markets and opportunities, articulate their segmentation and contribute to educational campaigns and thought leadership syndication.
    • Develop and execute GTM strategies that map industry need, product capabilities and company resources.
  • Thought Leadership
    • Be smart, be visible; engage in community, conferences and vectors that enable us to listen and speak with the growing ecosystem.
    • Contribute to company and partner blogs.
  • Company Leadership
    • Act as a steward of your values and ambassador of the company brand.
    • Focus on growth; recruit, mentor and inspire new talent.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years experience working in and managing highly effective BD teams in fast-paced environments.
  • Corroborated history of direct B2B enterprise sales and market development with a strong network presence
  • Organized, thoughtful and execution-oriented
  • Ability to define and execute on a sales strategy within desired markets
  • Eagerness to recruit, build and lead a team of A players across multiple business functions.
Required Skills:
  • 5+ years working in a fast growing technology startup/scale-up
  • Prior experience in applied Predictive Modeling, Data Science, AI & ML
  • A well-read, keen observer of trends across data analytics, machine learning, and data privacy
  • Penchant for written communication and public addresses
  • Understanding of statistical analysis and data science concepts, platforms.
  • Background in mathematics or statistics
  • Understanding of existing and emerging data privacy regulations
