You Can Unfold Your Talents In
  • Global Responsibility for the Business Unit Polyolefins (profit & loss), further development of strategy, incl. market insights, go-to-market strategy, sales channels, product and costumer portfolio as well as the supplier and customer relationships
  • Responsibility for country and agent management
  • Proactive driving the acquisition of suppliers and customers
  • Management of the risk exposure (e.g. Long/Short)
  • Continuous market observation, competitive analysis and transfer of the results for strategic marketing; optimization of the BU result & ensuring the investment needs
  • Supporting and pushing the Meraxis-One-stop shop with regards of cross selling / close collaboration with other Business Units / divisions as well as corporate functions (especially digitalization, sustainability)
  • Leadership & Development of the Product Management Team (4 direct reports)

Your Enablers Are
  • Several years of work experience in commodity business as Trader/Head Trader Desk within petrochemical / polymer or related sector, preferably with an active customer portfolio
  • Understanding of market structure, regulations and current opportunities
  • Strong analytical, decision-making and leadership skills
  • Solution providing mindset, hands-on mentality, as well as structured and independent way of working
  • Commercial and/or financial degree-level education
  • Excellent English and German communication skills; experienced in negotiations
