As a Director Process Digitization you will represent a key function for sustainably securing our competi-tive position in the field of pharmaceutical engineering and for the further growth of the Biopharma & Life Sciences Business Unit.
In this position, you will be the contact person for customer inquiries in the various areas of digitization of manufacturing processes and supply chains, such as ILM / RTR, robotization, Pharma 4.0, digital technol-ogy transfer, digital twins for manufacturing processes, supplies and the related environment, digital logis-tics and digital supply chain management. You will continuously monitor market developments in this area, advise our customers on interesting opportunities and solutions, develop and present options to the cus-tomer that offer real added value within the project specifications, help develop our junior talents both professionally and personally, and support our teams in carrying out feasibility and concept studies. In this way, you will help ensure that customer projects are delivered at an exceptional level of professionalism.
You will be in regular exchange with our global SME team and help to keep our capabilities and working tools up to date and harmonized globally. In addition, you will be in close exchange with our technology innovation and our CSV team. Your main deliverables are feasibility analyses and concept studies for the digitization of customer projects.
Based on your professional experience, you know the market requirements in the pharmaceutical engineer-ing business. You are actively involved in international professional organizations, e.g. by holding lectures, moderating roundtables or contributing to the creation of Best Practice Guidelines and position papers. You represent the company as an experienced and competent ambassador and contribute to making us the first choice for pharmaceutical engineering in Europe.
You are passionate about innovation, modular delivery, ditigal plant improvement and Facility of the Future concepts.

• You have a higher academic degree and a responsible position in pharmaceutical development or manufacturing
• You have a clear vision for digitizing the pharmaceutical manufacturing environment and are looking for a work environment where you can implement your ideas
• You have a good knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and applicable regulations
• You have a visionary and holistic mindset and a high affinity for IT, technological advances and con-tinuous improvement of systems and processes
• You are able to discuss with customer-side experts on the same professional level

• You are open to improved working methods and new tools that bring technological or operational ben-efits in pharmaceutical design and construction

Location: You will be based in the Basel office and will mainly support the European market from here, exceptionally also projects outside Europe. The position involves limited travel.
