This position is to join the Wireless and Sensing Products (WSP) group. They deliver innovative solutions for the Internet of Things (IOT). Think ‘high performance, low power communication ’for LPWAN connectivity and efficient low-power solutions for proximity sensing(like motion sensors, touchscreen controllers, or sensing products used in portable electronic devices, like smart phones or wearable devices, to reduce and control radio frequency (RF) emission power in the presence of a human body).

Job Summary

We are seeking for an experienced Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Engineer to join the team that is currently responsible for the development of the company’s core positioning algorithms.

The candidate will be working with talented experts, developing cutting-edge software algorithms for GNSS, LEO, and LoRa signal processing.

Responsibilities

  • The work consists of Developing GNSS signal processing algorithms for ultra-low power positioning solution.
  • This algorithm will then be ported either in dedicated DSP hardware block of software DSP processors.
  • During those development, you will assess key performance indicators and perform statistical analyses to benchmark different algorithm implementations and/or optimizations.
  • Beyond this activity, you will contribute to other DSP related work related to LoRa and IOT world.
Qualifications

  • M.Sc. or Ph.D. in electrical or telecommunications engineering. Other degrees, such as computer science, physics,
  • At least 2 years of hands-on involvement into GNSS technology at signal processing or receiver level.
  • Solid experience in DSP algorithm design including coding and simulation in Matlab.
  • Knowledge in embedded software development (C/C++ programming, debugging, testing, continuous integration).
  • Strong foundation in physical layer functionality for wireless systems in areas such as detection/acquisition, synchronization, parameter estimation & tracking, etc.
