eCommerce Specialist

Helen of Troy (NASDAQ: HELE) is a global designer, developer, and worldwide marketer of consumer brand-name products. About The Role

The eCommerce Specialist for EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) will assist the eCommerce Manager EMEA in coordinating and executing eCommerce strategies & initiatives across all categories (Health & Home, Beauty and Housewares brands) with a focus on delivering online sales targets while striving for industry leading consumer experience through cross-channel Digital Performance activities.

Thanks to their excellent Project Management, organization & planning skills, they will also drive the implementation of new eCommerce store views in a timely manner, with the cross-functional team in place.

What You’ll Do In The Role

ECOMMERCE SALES MANAGEMENT
  • Plan, manage and execute site merchandising activities across live platforms for increased sales conversion and profitability
  • Manage sales forecast updates with demand planning team in line with the eCommerce activity plans
  • Maintain and manage site inventories in collaboration with customer service, supply chain and our warehouse
  • Responsible for post purchase communications (transactional & in pack) to provide qualitative consumer experience and drive up/cross-sales
CONSUMER ACQUISITION & RETENTION
  • Implement the eCommerce strategy across Health & Home, Beauty, and Housewares categories, with focus on data
  • Plan & Drive successful consumer acquisition across a mix of digital performance channels with focus on ROAS
  • Partner closely with our CRM & Social specialists to significantly grow consumer retention as well as Consumer Live Time value
  • Advise, manage and implement profitable conversion tactics along the different touch point of the Consumer Journey
ECOMMERCE WEBSITE COORDINATION
  • Work closely with IT Project Manager to deliver eCommerce projects, ensure efficient ticket resolution, and represent EMEA interests in strategic IT web development planning.
  • Publish and update content and assets on live EMEA eCommerce websites on Magento 2
  • Partner closely with the Digital Content Editor to provide consistent & qualitative consumer experience across brand & ecommerce sections of the sites.
  • Review current eCommerce day to day processes and proactively suggest improvements as well as implement new techniques/tools
DTC PROJECT MANAGEMENT
  • Help co-ordinate internal and third-party stakeholders to deliver the EMEA Direct to Consumer project roadmap to agreed scope, budget, and timeline, to enable eCommerce countries & brands expansions across EMEA
  • Produce and activate a project communication plan to all stakeholders whilst applying project management tools/techniques to provide clear direction
  • Manage all aspects of the DTC Project, from initiation, development, testing, implementation, and post implementation review and improvement
ANALYTICS & REPORTING
  • Implement tracking solutions on eCommerce sites to enable cross-channel performance reporting & analytics, as per company standards
  • Monitor & report eCommerce sales & profitability on a weekly/ monthly/ quarterly/ yearly basis, as well as other eCommerce performance & Consumer Experience KPI’s
  • Advise and implement corrective measures to reach targets

Essential

What will help you do the job well
  • University degree in related field and min 3 years of experience in Direct to Consumer business across multiple functional areas (e.g. sales, consumer experience, site merchandising, digital performance marketing, inventory, payments, delivery…)
  • Experience in Digital Marketing with excellent SEM & GA skills
  • Advanced Magento 2 skills
  • Strong analytical skills and data driven thinking
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written), French a plus.
  • Excitement about joining a midsize yet growing company with fast-growing brands!

Nice To Have
  • Experience dealing with international markets for CPG brands preferred
  • Experience in a project management role and Agile methodology
