On a permanent contract within the R&D team, the software team is responsible for the development of the electronic systems used by the entire group (the largest group in the world in their sector of activity). You will work within a multidisciplinary and dynamic team responsible for the development of applications for connected devices, from design stage thought to production creation.

The position

Develop watch embedded software
Develop software for tools, test, and continuous integration systems
As a developer, you contribute to project backlog management (refinement, estimate, dependencies), to Product increment/sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
Write required software specifications (which may encompass human-machine interface, communication protocols, watch functions, security systems) and consolidate your and their expertise through the creation of appropriate documentation
Follow the software development workflow and contribute to its continuous improvement
Closely cooperate with other parts of the company – customers, Hardware teams, qualification, 3rd parties and manufacturing

Skills required :
Passion for developing miniaturised and highly power optimized, battery operated, electronic products
Demonstrated skills in embedded software : C language is required, C++ and Python desirable), along with the ability to model software design (UML)
Unit tests and on target automated tests
Experience in Continuous Integration (CI) based development model & tools such as Jenkins, Python, Git, BitBucket, Lint, SonarCube…
Theoretical and practical knowledge of microcontrollers (ARM-Cortex M, RISC-V)
Comfortable with safe/agile methodology & tools (g. Atlassian JIRA / Confluence)
You have demonstrated knowledge in at least one of these Software disciplines:

Wireless communications (Bluetooth Low Energy)
Real-time OS (g. FreeRTOS, Zephyr)
Communication protocols (SPI, I2S, I2C, UART, USB)
Signal processing algorithms (HRM, GPS, pedometer)
Graphical libraries
Security (encryption algorithms, security concepts / standards)

You are fluent in English (witten & spoken)
