HiveTracker, an innovative and rapidly growing Swiss startup, active in the field of Supply Chain & Logistics Innovation, is seeking an experienced, creative and result-oriented embedded software engineer to join our firmware team.
We are seeking a skilled individual with a history in the embedded projects software. You will be tasked with the development and improvement of the firmware of our IoT proprietary devices, support software QA and optimize I/O performance, provide postproduction support when necessary, test and troubleshoot the system software and participate in the development of new products. You should be a critical thinker and problem- solving oriented professional with a sense of ownership and pride in your performance and your impact on company’s success.

Skills requirements:
- Engineer Degree in Computer Science, Embedded Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or another similar field is a must
- Embedded Engineering experience is a must, with strong knowledge in C
- > 3 years of proven experience writing code in C for devices in production projects
- You are able to effectively ensure the quality of your work through targeted tests
- You have knowledge of communication between integrated circuits
- IoT experience and knowledge, especially Bluetooth Low Energy protocols, ANT.
- You are comfortable with the Agile methodology and you have a good command of tools such as Jira Confluence and Git
- Creation of technical notes and documentation
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and adapt into a fast-paced environment.
- Highly organized, analytical and attentive to details
- Extensive industry knowledge with an eye towards the future of the industry Job Responsibilities :
- Development of software modules, drivers and implementation of communication protocols on proprietary IoT devices
- Expansion of software products in the Supply Chain industry
- Maintain the required regulatory quality in embedded software for medical devices
- Ensure testing of the solution with functional, continuous integration and non-regression tests
- Contribute to the continuous development and quality optimisation in all our products
Job Responsibilities:
