  • Improvement and development of the drone drive train components and the entire drive system
  • Taking over system design responsibility
  • Integration of the drive systems in the drone structure and design of interfaces to electro-mechanical sensors and controls
  • Computer aided design (CAD)
  • Creating technical drawings, specifications, configurations, settings
  • Testing of components and sub-systems
  • Support testing of the complete drone system
  • Root cause problem solving and technical documentation
  • Managing drive train component and system suppliers
  • Improving SwissDrones processes and procedures

What You Bring To The Job
  • Higher education, e.g. in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, systems engineering or equivalent
  • Professional experience in mechanical design, manufacturing, assembly and testing in particular of drive train components, e.g. rotorheads and -controls, gearboxes, drive shafts etc
  • Experience in one of the major CAD programs
  • High degree of flexibility and working in a dynamic and growing company
  • Willingness to improve company procedures and processes
  • En: C1 – Advanced
Nice-to-Haves
  • Having worked in EASA Part 21 environment is a plus
  • Experience in drive train testing and certification documentation
  • Experience of working in a high quality and safety requirements environment, e.g., aviation, automotive, pharmaceuticals, medical devices or similar
  • Ge: B2 – Upper Intermediate
