The aim of the position is to support the bacterial vaccine R&D project to support a technology transfer for a first GMP production to start a toxicology study with focus on Upstream and Downstream process steps (bacterial fermentation, purification and concentration steps)

Main Responsibilities
  • Support technology transfer by writing GMP process documents like MBR, Work Instructions, Equipment manuals and Process Risk assessments
  • Manage Quality Issues, Root Cause Analysis and Investigations
  • Data verification
  • Data trending
  • Initiating and implementing Change Controls
Who We Are Looking For
  • Master or Bachelor degree in Bio-Engineering / Biotechnology / Biology / Biochemistry
  • Work experience in a GMP compliant biotechnological manufacturing or development environment is a major plus
  • Experience in bacteria fermentation and/or in Downstream process steps like chromatography and diafiltration
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical capabilities
  • Knowledge in Statistic
  • Teamplayer with good interpersonal communication
  • Capacity to communicate in English and German
