Assistant Accountant, EMEA

Spectrum Dynamics Medical is engaged in developing, manufacturing, selling, and servicing state-of-the-art nuclear medicine imaging systems.

We spearhead the transformation of the Single Photon Emission Computed Tomography imaging systems from analog to digital detection technology, enabling hospitals and clinicians to provide superior healthcare services at a much lower cost.

Position Responsibilities

The incumbent will support all finance and logistics activities including bookkeeping, payments, and logistics in Europe.

• Bookkeeping (Account Receivable/Account Payable)
• Process Travel and Expenses
• Process salary in the books
• Mailing forwarding: for sundry emails from authorities etc.
• Process bank transactions (deposits, inquiries, payments, etc.)
• Office management & admin support: equipment, supplies, and other external parties on various office-related matters
• Support for management of the legal entity
• Support for necessary regulatory and government filings (including tax returns, VAT, etc)
• Monthly and quarterly closing
• Provide support for Europe logistics
• Willing to a temporary position – Maternity leave replacement (Around 6 months)

Experiences, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Commercial degree (CFC) with specialization in Accounting or Accounting Certificate
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in an international environment
• Good ERP knowledge (experience with Microsoft AX is a plus)
• Good knowledge of International Accounting standards is a plus
• Ability to work independently and demonstrative initiative in daily routine matters
• Ability to multi-task and balance competing priorities and demands
• High motivated, responsible, and reliable person
• Good human skills
• Good computer skills
• Fluent in English and French, German or any other languages would be a plus
