Your Responsibilities
  • You decide technical content and timelines of new engine components development related to Cooling subsystems (coolant pump, thermostat, engine coolers, coolant systems, degazing pipes) in accordance with Project Management
  • You define technical specifications of components to be developed and key operating parameters
  • You work in a cross-functional team to make sure the chosen technology and specification match project requirements (Design, Engine Tests, Electronic, Project Management)
  • You support FMEA-processes, update and follow-up internal and external engine tests activities
  • You regularly work with suppliers on technology surveys, component development and tear-down
  • You are responsible for the post-processing and analysis of test results on the concerned subsystem and define the next steps based on test results
  • You define master Design and Validation plan for the Coolant subsystem and prepare technical or functional release for components in development

Your Profile
  • You have successfully completed a bachelor or master degree in Mechanical engineering
  • You have advanced knowledge in the field of combustion engines, DVPNr methodology as well as troubleshooting
  • You have worked in engine development for more than 5 years
  • You have an excellent command of English and good knowledge in French or German
  • You define yourself as an analytical thinker with extensive leadership skills. You approach your work by being flexible, being resilient while being aware of cost & resources
