Purpose

An exciting growth opportunity to work closely with the newly appointed VP Global Supply Chain Management Transformation & Innovation. You will have the chance to roll-up your sleeves and help the new Head embed a vision, set structure, define priorities, as well as drive & measure key progress of our transformation into a DTC focused SCM operating model. You will work hand in glove with the Global Supply Chain Leadership Team and colleagues across the globe, be a sparring partner for key stakeholders and manage organization-wide SC workstreams and their impact.

Key Accountabilities
  • Works closely with the VP Global SCM Transformation & Innovation in defining and facilitating the SCM transformation process and ensuring alignment within SCM and the broader Global Operations (GOPS) strategies
  • Collaborates across markets and business units to prioritize SCM transformation initiatives, improvement opportunities and ensures buy-in as well as implementation
  • Remains current on industry and competitor trends, disruptive technologies, and other advances or environmental changes. Anticipates opportunities to transform SCM capabilities, processes, and tools
  • Drives organizational design, co-develops the blueprint for GSCM, and implements it subsequently, establishes KPI’s & reporting standards
  • Monitors international, national, and sector trends to establish future capabilities
  • Proposes and initiates capability improvement activities within Supply Chain typically driven by the need to enhance performance, satisfy new business opportunities or to respond to external drivers
  • Conducts impact assessments, introduces organizational design techniques, methodologies, and tools to change and improve organization structures and culture
  • Outlines how the organizational structure, people development, teams and roles need to change to enable the future business processes
  • Facilitates open communication and discussion between stakeholders to create and maintain commitment as well as close and gaps if need be
  • Develops organizational capabilities to drive innovation and implements processes, tools, and frameworks to foster innovation
  • Drives communication and the open flow of creative ideas between interested parties and supports the setup of innovation networks and communities

Knowledge, Capabilities And Skills
  • Business acumen and knowledge in supply chain management is an asset
  • Demonstrates strategic vision, ability to anticipate future consequences and trends, and incorporate them into a plan with a relentless focus on execution
  • Proven track record of managing complex transformation programs, strategic projects, understanding of business process management, agile methodologies, and principles
  • Strong executive presence, an engaging personality with the ability to motivate, network and influence across all business levels
  • A storyteller, able to present complex information both to technical and non-technical audiences as well as top management confidently, simply, and concisely
  • Proven ability to lead x-functional teams, delegating authority down the line
  • Proven track record of exceeding goals, evidence of the ability to make good decisions through a combination of analysis, experience, and judgment
  • Action oriented, looks for challenges and able to act & react as necessary, even if limited information is available
  • Can overcome resistance, take people along with sociable can-do attitude
  • A ’doer’ – someone who likes to talk enough about what needs to happen but is itching to get the job done and that with a pinch of fun
Qualifications
  • College or university degree with focus on Business Administration or SCM or related areas, or equivalent combination of education and experience, fluent in English
  • 8-10 years of relevant work experience in global operations or supply chain environment, with proven transformation record and senior management exposure
  • International experience, ideally worked abroad and gained functional/market experience
