Context & Mission

The Learning and Development (L&D) pole analyses needs, defines and implements strategies, mechanisms and tools to increase the knowledge and know-how of staff, in accordance with the objectives, values and the choices made by the organization. The aim is to ensure the global workforce has access to solutions to develop their skills, grow in their field of competence and performs better in their roles.

The organization is calling for a greater support to the departments and the filières in terms of L&D strategy, which is largely reflected in the objectives of the strategic plan.

Considering the ambitions of the organization to be more inclusive and to provide more L&D opportunities to a majority of the global workforce, L&D is creating a set up that enables to scale up the deployment of programs.

The L&D Support Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of the implementation of learning programs and learning events. His/her main mission is to provide organizational and technical support so that the learning solutions are implemented in a learner centric manner.

YourResponsibilities

Coordination of the Support Pillar

Ensure the smooth running of the Support Pillar :

  • Supervise the Support Officers Teams (line or functional).
  • Coordinate the Learning activities that require support from the Support Officers and ensure the workload distribution.
  • Act as focal point for the L&D Budgets (field and HQ), in term of construction and follow-up.
  • Ensure that the L&D Offer and the different internal schedules are updated and aligned.
  • Inform on regular basis L&D partners about MSF offers, seats available and calendar.
  • Share information with MSF counterparts about OCG Learning events.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of processes and tools.
  • Organize L&D briefings with staff involved in learning activities.
  • Can be part of the recruitment panel for L&D team members.


Organisation of OCG Learning activities

Ensure support to the L&D team and counterparts by being responsible for the organisation of L&D events, their proper implementation and smooth delivery:

  • Organize the preparation, implementation and follow up of offsite and onsite learning activities both face-to-face and virtually including enrollment, technical support.
  • Provide organizational (logistic, technical, and administrative) support to learners and trainers for the smooth delivery of learning activities (presential and virtual).
  • Co-facilitate sessions on demand.
  • Ensure the Learning requests and proposed solutions are coherent and adapted to the Learning needs
  • Develop and manage course evaluations and track data and analytics about usage, attendance, and other metrics.
  • Propose and contribute to the elaboration of tools and procedures related to the organization of Learning activities in the frame of the digital transformation.

Your Profile

Education

  • Master in HR, Administration or Finance or equivalent experience

Experience

  • At least two years’ work experience in relation with Learning & Development activities;
    Field experience a great asset.

Technicalcompetencies

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholder interactions concurrently, attention to detail and ability to execute, time management.
  • Good command of MS Office (especially Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel) and collaborative Tools (Zoom, Mural...)
  • Strong interest of adult learning theory, learning styles, learner needs
  • Ability to speak and present in front of a group.

Languages

  • English, French. Ability to speak and write fluently in order to communicate easily with all parties.

  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work on different projects at the same time
  • Result oriented
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills and creating links with various stakeholders.

Terms of Employment

  • Open-ended contract, 80%
  • Working place: Geneva
  • Ideal starting date: asap
  • Gross annual salary (100%): CHF 83’808.- to CHF 96’492.- (salary commensurate with experience and internal salary grid)
