For our client specialized in coatings, inks, and adhesives and based in Zürich canton, we’re looking for a Lacquer or Chemical Laboratory Technician to be part of the R&D team.

Responsability

Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Execution of defined work packages in projects and tasks, potentially supporting production, QC, TS as delegated by the group leader.
  • Technical documentation of experiments and results.
  • Accompanying practical tests and evaluation of the results of print tests.
  • Testing of raw materials, including documentation in databases.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and order in the laboratory.
  • Adherence to safety guidelines, particularly in the areas of safety and environment.

Profile

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A qualification as a lacquer laboratory technician or laboratory technician.
  • Basic knowledge in the formulation of lacquers and adhesives (mainly radiation-curing and partially solvent-based) and the corresponding chemistry.
  • Basic knowledge of printing and coating processes (advantageous).
  • Several years of professional experience (advantageous).
