EINFÜHRUNG: For our client, Europe’s leading supplier of rotating unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) located in Möhlin, we are looking for an individual as Mechanical Systems Engineer (Full time, unlimited contract) The start date is as soon as possible. Hybrid Remote will be possible.AUFGABENBESCHREIBUNG: Lead the requirements identification, design, prototyping, testing, integration, and documentation activities of allocated systems in accordance with recognized mechanical systems engineering practices and internal processes.Prepare or supervise the preparation and release of design data in the form of production drawings, bill of materials and CAD-models.Bear technical responsibility for the systems assigned to you throughout the full product life cycle, including supplier liaison, troubleshooting, and support to production, flight operations and customer support.Contribute to conceptual studies, the definition of design changes and supplier selection.ERFORDERLICHES PROFIL: University degree in Mechanical Engineering, or another relevant engineering discipline.A minimum of 5 years’ professional experience in CAD-based mechanical design.Demonstrable experience in structural and mechanical systems design, as well as in building constructive relationships with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. production, suppliers).Experience in the helicopter industry, or aviation industry in general is an asset.Important personal characteristics:Self-starter, team player, analytical mindset, hands-on attitude, with a clear and concise >Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
