Your team

Pictet Asset Management (Pictet AM) manages the assets of some of the world’s largest institutions, financial intermediaries and their clients. Our culture welcomes independent thinkers and centres around investment excellence, a long-term perspective and a dedication to client service.
As an Investment Manager in the Equities Department, you will strengthen our Specialist Equities team in Geneva focusing on listed infrastructure and Real Assets.

Your role

  • Generating long-term investment ideas based on bottom-up, fundamental research and analysis in the listed infrastructure sector.
  • Establishing and developing benchmark-agnostic portfolio construction (including risk management, ESG engagements, proxy voting).
  • Working closely with other investment managers in the Specialist Equities team and in the broader equity franchise.
  • Working closely with our client portfolio managers and sales teams to support our client and consultant relationships.
  • Helping develop our thought leadership in real assets investing.

Your profile

  • Five to ten years’ professional experience in financial markets, specifically in equities investment-related positions (buy-side or sell-side). Proven interest in listed infrastructure is a plus.
  • Master’s degree or equivalent. Additional qualifications such as CFA or MBA would be a plus.
  • Strong commitment to fundamental, bottom-up analysis with a long-term focus.
  • Passionate about investing.
  • Familiarity with ESG concepts and experience in integrating ESG factors in investment analysis.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Process-oriented approach, deep analytical skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Focused on the success of the team and the strategy.
  • Good Excel skills and working knowledge of Bloomberg.
  • Fluent in English; fluency in another major language would be a plus.
  • Able to work autonomously as well as being an independent thinker with a clear focus on maximising the team’s success with a positive and collaborative attitude.
  • Must be resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate.
