Tasks
  • Lead the global Quality process and team to ensure Quality targets achievement for the business area Milling Solutions
  • Align and coach, worldwide, the Milling Solutions organization to strive for top reliability, compliance with the pertinent normative and "zero" Quality defect
  • Develop and foster a structured risk management process in the R&D with focus on effective validation programs
  • Implement a sustainable and prevention-oriented resolution of Quality issues (e.g. 8D)
  • Cultivate a continuous improvement mindset in the Business Area
  • Lead Quality gates for the complete value chain processes (Bühler C2C and M2M) and audit the compliance
  • Monitor and drive Quality key performance indicators
  • Contribute to the group Quality initiative “Hoshin Kanri”
  • Support cross business areas Quality projects
  • Perform internal and external audits

Required Qualifications
  • University degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering
  • Further Education in Quality and/or Risk Management
  • Several years of professional experience in Quality Management
  • Very Good knowledge of quality techniques such as FMEA and 8D
  • Assertive personality with a problem solving, pragmatic and “can do” attitude
  • Experience in dealing with a diverse environment
  • Strong personality with a positive drive, very good moderation, and communications skills
  • Fluent English
  • Willingness to work in a matrix organisation and to travel (10-20%)

Preferred Qualifications
  • German or further language skills are Plus
