The company’s goal is to offer itself as a "consultant" partner by adhering to the customer’s interest.Mac Solutions, a TXT Group company, is looking for a Software Test Engineer for the extension of a team operating at one of our customers in the banking sector in Lugano (Switzerland) with a starting date ASAP.THE ROLEResponsible for all test activities throughout testing life-cycle for key customer accounts. Customer facing role requiring excellent presentation and communication skills and ability to manage stress levels in demanding project contexts. In this role you have to:
  • Provide effort estimations and track the test effort to ensure adequate staffing;
  • Monitor and control testing activities against planned budget and quality gates;
  • Report progress to management and client;
  • Manage client relationship with appropriate communication;
  • Manage defects and Reporting;
  • Design, update and execute functional and business test scenarios and test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring their reusability;
  • Manage test.
Skills And Experience Needed
  • Indispensable:
  • Working knowledge of MicroFocus QC/ALM, JIRA, MS Office Suite;
  • In-depth knowledge of Test concepts and methodology;
  • Experience and strong knowledge of the banking and/or finance industry or other regulatory environments;
  • English and Italian languages are mandatory.
  • Nice to Have (in addition):
  • ISTQB Certification or equivalent;
  • Technical knowledge of web and mobile applications;
  • Experience of testing in Agile context (Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, TDD, BDD, API testing);
  • Other languages, like French and German, is considered a plus.
A permanent Swiss contract is offered with remuneration commensurate with the experience gained.#MACSOL
