Global Neuro is a medically guided, nonprofit foundation incorporated in Switzerland. The representatives of Global Neuro are key opinion leaders in the neuro field.

Founded in 2017, we are a start-up, organizing educational activities around the globe, reaching around 700 participants annually. Our mission is to improve the quality of neuro care worldwide through excellence in education and training, building on our active global volunteer network.

We are looking for a highly motivated person for the position of

Events Project Manager (60-100%)

In this function, you own the project management of education events including strategic design, implementation and management, with particular responsibility for:

Events Management

  • Creating project plans from pitch to delivery in conjunction with company representatives and GNF team members.
  • Set out the scope of the project and associated timelines, ensuring that deliverables meet the stakeholders’ needs and budget.
  • Manage supplier arrangements including negotiation of favorable terms and ensuring all quality and delivery standards are met.
  • Order equipment, book transport, manage inventories and perform requested adjustments of all promotional material
  • Attend events around the world and support attendees and faculty
  • Prepare and Manage events online.
  • Manage Global Neuro’s invoicing and accounting, coordinate Governance meetings.

Marketing and Communications

  • Support marketing and communications: provide input into campaigns ensuring a smooth running of digital channels and assets.
  • Support the development of a sustainable strategy to build Global Neuro Foundation’s brand
  • Have an affinity to design: develop content and design across formats and audiences (e.g., from individual to bulk and from healthcare professionals to corporate clients).

Reporting & Analytics:

  • Able to manage event data and provide analysis, including market research.
  • Have an affinity for managing marketing and communication data.

Innovation:

  • Stay up to date with the latest in-person and online event planning tools and methods to deploy best practices and understand how other organizations and companies are using them.

The ideal person we are looking for should:

  • Have a Bachelor Degree
  • Be comfortable working in a client-focused consulting and project-driven environment
  • Be highly collaborative, proactive ’go getter’ able to be flexible and work independently
  • Be experienced in the events sector (ideally with experience in medical devices)
  • Be an effective and structured planner with the ability to execute complex workflows, managing project timelines and budgets
  • Be confident in liaising with clients and associated stakeholders
  • Have strong attention to detail
  • Have the ability to anticipate and solve problems
  • Be a team player with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Be open to learning and development
  • Be fluent in written and spoken English
  • Be willing to travel internationally
  • Be proficient user of Microsoft Office applications
  • Have experience using an online project and task management tool e.g., asana or slack or click up
  • Have an interest in design
