Position at Logitech

We are looking for a Communications Manager whose creativity and communications skills will help support the internal communications of the General Manager and thought leadership supporting Logitech’s Creativity and Productivity (C&P) portfolio - Logitech’s largest portfolio - amongst external stakeholders.

The individual will lead the development and delivery of high-quality internal communications strategies and content to a growing organization. The position will also lead the creation of a compelling thought leadership platform and extend those stories, exploring themes such as innovation and business transformation through the lens of equality and inclusivity, to external audiences through speaking, media and social channels.

This position is based in Lausanne, Switzerland (hybrid and remote will also be considered) and reports to the Head of Corporate and Employee Communications; working directly with the C&P GM and her leadership team. This person will be supported by an integrated team of public and influencer relations, social media, employee communications and more.

This candidate must be an excellent communicator, writer and content creator, be self-directed, manage multiple priorities concurrently and have the ability to forge strong relationships to consult with senior leaders.

  • As a trusted partner and advisor, create written and visual content that enables the leader to achieve the organization’s internal communication objectives.
  • Develop a messaging platform that elevates the executive and Logitech as a whole; extend the company’s values into thought leadership opportunities.
  • Develop a strategic thought leadership and speakership plan on behalf of the C&P portfolio leadership, proactively identifying and securing executive-level speaking opportunities, evaluating and responding to media requests, and turning messages into compelling written blogs, contributed articles, scripts and more.
  • Support storytelling and presentation development for key leadership events including employee all-hands, Corporate Board meetings, industry and investor events.
  • Leverage social media strategy and execution to expand the external messaging.
Your Contribution
  • You are a driven, proactive individual that has a passion for compelling storytelling.
  • You have outstanding writing and editing skills; ability to write for a broad spectrum of multimedia communications channels.
  • You have a strong ability to distill complex information into clear, concise messaging; ability to write in a simple, direct, warm and friendly tone.
  • You can develop executive presentations that are engaging and compelling to all audiences.
  • You are a strategic thought leader, brainstorm partner and sounding board with an established track record collaborating with and proactively supporting senior leaders on communications strategies and best practices; client service mindset and consultative approach is a must.
  • You are detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and adapt quickly to the fast pace of the business, and love to have fun while getting the job done.
  • You thrive in a collaborative environment, and can also work independently.
Experience And Education
  • 8+ years in working in corporate communications and marketing, including executive and employee communications experience, preferably in a fast-paced, high-tech company.
  • Dual language English and French a plus.
