Job Description

Nexthink Finance Transformation team is formed by two NetSuite administrators/developers, three finance project analysts, and a project manager.

The goal of the team is to ensure the success of all Finance projects, especially the ones involving systems.

The day a day of the team is mainly split between three types of tasks
  • Project management
Each team member is responsible for one or two projects at a time. For each project, the following steps take place.
  • Create a Functional Requirements Document (FRD). The project analyst is responsible to gather the requirements efficiently.
  • Propose two or three solutions.
  • Team up with the developer to build the chosen solution in the system.
  • Create the User Acceptance Test (UAT) script.
  • Perform the UAT and document the results for the business and audit review.
  • Create process documentation, user guide, and training.
  • Support the Go-live of the project
  • Support
The project analyst is responsible to answer daily user support queries.QualificationsAdditional Information
  • Recurring tasks
  • Monthly user database update.
  • System releases quarterly assessment.
  • Access quarterly control.
  • Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting, business administration or equivalent accounting qualification.
  • At least 3 years of finance transformation or similar experience.
  • Knowledge of finance and accounting principles, US GAAP and SOX Compliance knowledge is required.
  • Experience working in a US public company is an advantage.
  • Self-motivated, ability to multitask and demonstrates high learning agility.
  • Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
  • Strong team player with excellent project managements skills.
  • Experience building Function requirement documentation (FRD) and User acceptance testing (UAT) is a must.
  • Attention to detail, ability to keep deadlines and set priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and in an international environment.
  • Flexibility and willingness to take on new challenges.
  • Ability to listen and to communicate effectively with all levels of the Nexthink organization.
  • Good computer skills in Microsoft Office suite and aptitude for accounting software.
  • Knowledge of Oracle NetSuite would be a plus.
  • Experience in working in a fast growing and changing environment, ideally in the software industry.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
