We are looking for an entrepreneurial-minded person with the ambition to gain hands-on founder experience to join our early team for 6 months. Being an entrepreneur can be one of the most fulfilling tasks in life and for sure one with the highest learning curve. You love autonomy, setting your own goals, are super curious to learn how to build and grow an early-stage tech startup? Join us and build alongside the founders a leading insurance company of the 21st century. ✨

Tasks

Woking alongside the founders on business priorities, such as unlocking new growth, product decisions, and onboarding partners.

Tasks include:
  • Growth (supporting marketing initiatives, partnerships…)
  • Corporate & Governance (legal, fundraisings, meetings, public affairs…)
  • Talent (sourcing and recruiting, building and - organizing team sessions and retreats)
  • Product (identify and explore strategic product opportunities)
  • Strategy (contribute to the strategic vision of the company, screen markets, and competition, produce business analyses, build models of growth, etc.)
  • Other (People, knowledge, organizational topics,...)
Requirements
  • Close to Bachelor or Master graduation or recently graduated.
  • Some practical experience from internship(s) in consulting, startups, scale-ups, or tech companies or from entrepreneur/startup associations.
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual skills: you will support the founding team with research and market analysis. This requires the ability to frame the right questions, objectively analyze and evaluate a problem or issue, and problem-solve including simulating possible outcomes.
  • Ambitious and equipped with an entrepreneurial mindset to make things happen: given the scope, volume, and timeline of work, the ability to direct people - including oneself - towards a particular objective that may require active orchestration is key.
  • Ability to work with limited guidance and proactively collaborate with multiple stakeholders across and outside of the organization: given the scope of work, you should be able to jump from one topic to another with a similar impact.
  • ‘Business’ sense: often you will have to think at the company level, assessing what would be best for the business, and working on topics that have cross-cutting impacts. The ability to understand what can make a business great (product-wise, commercially, in terms of image, etc.), and usually making correct decisions, even in the presence of ambiguity, is paramount.
