What You’ll DoJob SummaryThe FP&A Lead Financial Analyst supports the planning and analysis activities for the electrical systems business active in 13 countries across EMEA with 17 mfg sites and 3,500+ employees. This role reports to the Systems FP&A Manager and helps coordinating and executing monthly financial reporting requirements including month-end closing, forecasting, analysis, and management reporting. Act as a key contact and spokesperson for the systems business in relation to financial results. Prepare financial analysis and month-end financial reporting deliverables as required. Strong participation in the development and analysis of the annual profit plan. Continuously seek opportunities for streamlining all finance processes and refinement of reporting activities. Participation to special projects as necessary.Job ResponsibilitiesWork with the FP&A manager to coordinate and execute monthly/quarterly closing & forecasting cycles. Drive forecast accuracy across organization and ensure actuals are translated into financial insights. Strong participation in the development and analysis of both the annual profit plan and the 5-year strategic plan (guidelines, consolidation, review and synthesis of key metrics). Preparation of management financial presentations (operational reviews, leadership meetings, profit plan) with a particular focus on working capital and the cost by functions.Participate in SIOP, Pulse, Task Force and other recurring operational meetings for CS Division to gain better insights into the challenges and actions on-going throughout the month in the different business units (LS, ESS, CPS, DPQ) in order to better understand the month end performance results and have clarity on the message to be delivered to CS and EMEA Senior Leadership Team.Contribute to strategic planning activities for Critical Systems. Support consolidating the financial strategic targets and support the process to track the execution. Ensure that top-down guidance are followed by business and finance team.Consolidate and explain the financial results of the division (P&L, working capital, key KPIs). Collaborate closely with the CS stakeholders (GMs, OPS, SCM, finance leaders, etc.) to understand the gaps and the remediation actions.Ability to synthesize large amount of data into insightful information and analysis to management.Provide assistance in special project work throughout the divisions as necessary (e.g., Inventory, CAPEX, Head-Count by Function, Product Line Profitability, Cost by Function, etc.)Develop a good understanding of the business. Stays up to date on our products, markets, competition and trends. Understands our go to market approaches and customer baseContinue supporting the deployment and the accuracy of the management reporting and forecast system (Optimus/EPBCS)Act as a business partner. Be recognized as a go-to-person for any questions related to Critical Systems financialsIs comfortable with US GAAP reporting guidelines and SOX frameworkIs comfortable with SAP, Oracle (Cloud) and other finance IT systems including planning & data warehouse toolsUnderstands and knows how to navigate through matrix environment, can manage through influencingDigital mindset.
