Mission
You will work within the OM Unit on the Prevention of the Manipulation of Competitions – specifically coordinate Pillar 2 ‘Awareness Raising and Capacity Building’ to support the OM Unit’s overarching objectives across pillars and also support the CECO’s activities.

Main Responsibilities
In line with Olympic Agenda: Ensure the protection of clean athletes:
  • Support the Unit’s key deliverables, notably within Pillar 2 (Education, Awareness Raising and Capacity Building). Manage and coordinate – under the supervision of the Head of the OM Unit PMC – various activities of the OM Unit PMC with regards to the educational and awareness raising strategy of the Unit, most notably in the build-up to and during the IOC’s main events but also including other events (including IF events and continental/multi-sport events).
  • Work as part of the team of the Olympic Movement Unit on the Prevention of the Manipulation of Competitions to deliver Pillar 2 of the Unit’s ‘3 Pillar Strategy’:
    • Coordinate the awareness raising initiatives of the OM Unit PMC;
    • Lead the setting of clear targets and objectives for the educational team of the Unit in line with the overarching strategy of the Unit;
    • Coordinate the further development and strengthening of the Unit’s awareness raising programme ‘Believe in Sport – BeTrueBeYou’ with regards to content and increased activation with key stakeholders across the Olympic Movement;
    • Be responsible for the ‘Believe in Sport’-Ambassadors programme:
      • recruitment of Ambassadors among NOCs and IFs, in cooperation with Awareness-Raising Coordinator and NOCs Contact Manager
      • develop and deliver training for Ambassadors
      • Activate the Ambassadors for pre and onsite campaigns at OG, YOG and other relevant events.
      • maintain continuous communication within the ambassadors’ community
      • promote the Ambassadors community within the Olympic Movement.
    • Maintain, update and promote the educational toolbox on competition manipulation.
    • Work in collaboration with the Athlete’s Engagement team within IOC’s Sports Department in order to ensure the smooth integration of the Unit’s content within the IOC’s Athlete365 portal where necessary and reasonable;
    • Further activate awareness raising strategies with the many partners of the Unit, most notably the IOC’s key stakeholders IFs and NOCs;
    • Coordinate and be part of the team managing the pre-Games education tools and campaigns for the participants of the Olympic Games.
    • Set clear standards and indicators for the management of and be part of the team managing the pre-Game and during-Game campaign for the Youth Olympic Games.
    • Coordinate the maintenance of the ‘educational toolbox’, educational workshops and webinars.
    • Further develop ideas and strategies how to strengthen the cascading down of the messages to prevent competition manipulation across the Olympic Movement;
    • Perform all this work in close collaboration with the members of the OM Unit PMC and in line with the overarching strategy, in particular for the capacity building activities.
  • Cross-pillar projects’:
    • Support for global coordination between the pillars;
    • Communicate with external partners;
    • Analytical work to support the Strategy;
    • Work in close cooperation with all team members of the OM Unit PMC and be open and willing to support them on their projects, where necessary and reasonable.
  • Other tasks:
    • Support tasks and represent the OM Unit’s initiatives at seminars and workshops within the Olympic Movement (e.g. for and with IFs, NOCs, athletes, entourage);
    • Support Ethics and Compliance Office for the organization of the ‘International Forum for Sports Integrity’ with regards to matters connected to the manipulation of competitions;
    • Support the Unit in its daily administrational and organizational tasks where necessary (e.g. purchase processes, contract management, room booking, travel arrangements, office supplies, etc.);
    • Support the CECO, the Ethics and Compliance team and other departments where necessary.

Our Requirements
  • University Degree or experience within the sport movement (for a minimum of 3 years) is a must.
  • Experience working within a national and/or international sport organization would be a plus (including on grass roots level).
  • Experience within an educational and/or awareness raising entity would be an asset.
  • Experience working on virtual and/or physical campaigns, specifically cascading down content and activation and awareness raising within groups on individuals would be an asset (notably also experience in overseeing and implementing content within a online or offline campaign).
  • Experience within an integrity body would be an asset.
  • Knowledge of the sports betting industry would be an asset.
  • English is a must, French is highly desirable.
  • Literacy in IT products and excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint SharePoint and Outlook) is a must.
  • Keen sense of priorities to ensure efficient management of projects and deliverables.
  • Ability to multitask; assiduity in following up files; very good drafting skills.
  • Rigorous professional ethics; sense of initiative; ability to work in a dynamic environment and respect deadlines
  • Ability to consider interpersonal differences as a source of added value and interact constructively with all kinds of people.
  • Ability to:
    • establish a realistic, clear and efficient line of action to reach individual or common objectives
