WE RECRUIT:Data Engineer intern for a period of6-months, ASAP, to assist the Datalake team and roll out some of the fundamental tools required to manage a data platform. Keep a consistent view on montinoring cockpit tools and Dashboards. Design processes to increase our efficiency and standardize our operations.HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?In collaboration with our data platform team and management, you will build data pipelines on our cloud platformand will contribute to bring our data projects to life.

• Implement our data engineering, in order to create monitoring cockpits
• Understand data engineering team main workflows, and translate sensitive monitoring tasks into metrics, probes, and dashboard with meaningful insights:
• Data process monitoring (GCP bigquery/datadog)
• Billing monitoring
• Platform activity monitoring
• Define and implement relevant controls to secure cloud workloads and associated processes
• Promote an automation approach to ensure consistent and transparent execution (test automation, code review etc.)
• Be a trusted liaison with Richemont data platform teams, Group Technology teams
• Be autonomous and proactive; able to understand functional and technical requirements, identify gaps and suggest improvements
  
  
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE ?


• You are doing a Master’s degree or are recently graduated (Business or Engineering School) with a strong willingness for technical topics
• Good understanding of Google Cloud architecture from foundation blocks to workload types
• Strong hands-on experience with Python/SQL dev
• Hands-on experience in GCP CLI and/or the Google Cloud Python Client is a plus
• Experience in data visualization and building monitoring dashboards is a plus
• Ability to communicate results to stakeholders and write technical documentation
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code automation with Terraform and Gitlab
• Good understanding of SDLC processes (Agile, DevOps)
• Fluent in English, French a plus
