Position Summary

Business Growth Solutions (BGS) division supports Nestlé operating companies & other Nestlé units, by providing them with integrated trading solutions in a professional and cost-effective manner, while offering a platform for business development.
Located in La Tour-de-Peilz on the shores of Lake Geneva, our passionate multicultural team is focused on delivering first class services in import/export, logistics and financial services. To reinforce the Operations team of BGS and contribute to our growth, we are currently looking for a Demand & Supply Planner for our Ethnic and Travel business.
Reporting to the Demand & Supply Planning Manager, your main responsibilities will be to ensure the highest finished goods availability to our customers and consumers (right quantity, right place, right time, right freshness) whilst optimizing the total delivered costs through managing, challenging, and optimizing the E2E Supply Chain with an effective Demand and Supply Planning process.


Key responsibilities

  • Establish a Demand Plan for a portfolio of Products and Customers in the Ethnic and Travel channels – by leading the Monthly Business Planning process with the Business and Finance.
  • Ensure an 18-month Supply plan with our Producers across the world, is in place to satisfy customer needs, considering both the network complexity and supply constraints.
  • Challenge Producers on a regular basis to review MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity), frozen production period to improve the Supply performance and reduce risk of Bad Goods.
  • Analyze and effectively communicate Supply issues.
  • Maintain and enhance SAP APO Master Data to automatize our ways of working.
  • Develop inspiring and leading reporting to support decision making process.


Education and experience

  • University’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related discipline.
  • Three or more years of relevant operational experience in one of the following areas :
  • Demand Planning
  • Supply Planning
  • Vendor-Managed Inventory Planning
  • Proficiency in SAP APO, MS Excel, PowerBi.
  • Team player, with excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively across different functions and organizations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Open-minded, curious, looking for solutions to improve efficiency of operations.
  • Fluent in English (written & spoken).
