Nomoko is a Swiss tech startup unlocking the potential of industry through the power of Digital Twins. We’re building an ecosystem for data suppliers, data users, developers, partners and businesses across every industry to access spatial data, and build and use spatial solutions using Digital Twins.

Fullstack Developer

Tech stack: Our frontend is written in React.js, Typescript, SCSS, and Mapbox for map integration. Our backend stack is a mix of NodeJS, Spring Boot, but also, we have started to invest heavily in cloud services (serverless functions, API Gateways, streams, CQRS).

Location: Zurich or Luxemburg

Tasks

What will you do?

  • You take on a proactive role and help us in frontend and backend along the full lifecycle of our product(s), meaning not only development and maintenance thereof, but also design, testing, and documentation
  • You build and develop APIs
  • You work with spatial data and are involved in streaming and visualizing 2D and 3D data
Requirements

Which skills do you need?

  • Min. 3 years experience as a fullstack developer, preferably with experience in web development working with the following technologies: Typescript, HTML, CSS, React for frontend; Relational databases (preferably Postgres, NodeJS, RESTful APIs) for backend
  • Familiarity with Tier 1 cloud providers and used to working with Gitlab/Github for version control
  • Great communication skills in English and experience with working in a dynamic, agile development team
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar education
  • Hands-on experience with geo-spatial application development platforms like Mapbox, Cesium and Esri and experience working with Java and SpringBoot would be a big plus
