CONTEXTRichemont’s Regional Finance function is one of the Group’s support functions that enables our Maisons to enter new markets more easily, to focus on their strength in design, creation, sales and marketing. The Regional Finance function, among other, makes a regular and significant contribution to the Group’s sales growth and operating margins.The Internal Control Specialist Europe reports to the Controlling & ICS Manager Europe.They will be responsible for:
  • The legal entity that has the wholesale business in Europe : supporting the increasing need of compliance for internal control, in line with the Group Internal Control guidelines and requirements.
  • Coordinating the teams within the 7 European markets, managing the distribution business , including Retail, E-commerce & partners: UK, France, Iberia, Italy, Switzerland, Benelux, Northern Europe.
  • Support the Brands in their effort to implement Richemont Europe procedures.
The Internal Control Specialist’s position implies to be in contact with a very broad range of actors internally and externally: local Internal Control & Retail Back-office teams, local CFOs, Brands’ Europe Management, Group and Regional functions, as well as internal and external auditors.This will be apermanent position and will be based in Meyrin, Geneva, within our ‘Campus Genevois de Haute Horlogerie’.Is this resonating with you?Then, you must be the right talent to join our regional team as Internal Control Specialist Europe!HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?Manage the internal control activities of the legal entity:
  • Review and update risk control matrices , perform subsequent testing and issue adequate reporting to Group in line with management’s expectations.
  • Review system access rights and inherent segregation of duties, and ensure mitigations are in place.
  • Be the contact point for external and internal auditors (preparation of the audits, responses, etc.).
  • Prepare and supervise annual stock counts .
  • Support management in ad‐hoc initiatives aimed at strengthening the compliance effort.
  • Document or provide guidelines for documenting processes, procedures and user guides.
  • Ensure clear communication by animating the Europe Finance SharePoint .
Control and support the 7 markets belonging to the Europe Region in their compliance effort:
  • Ensure the sharing of internal control best practices throughout Europe Region and help the Controlling & ICS Manager Europe in animating the internal control communities .
  • Act as a project manager for all Internal Control and Retail Back Office business development projects defined at Europe level.
  • Help and develop internal control dashboards relevant for the Europe Region.
  • Schedule and perform internal control reviews of the markets to ensure adequate and sustained compliance. Follow up on issues uncovered and analyse deficiencies. Monitor adequate resolution of issues.
  • Support the markets in their relationship with internal auditors and bring expertise to the resolution of issues noted. Follow up on issues uncovered and analyse deficiencies.
  • Train newcomers in the markets on the Richemont’s internal controls framework and available tools.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE?
  • You hold a Master degree in Finance or equivalent
  • 5-7 years of experience in external/internal audit or internal control.
  • Knowledge of SAP and visualization tools (Power BI, SAC, Celonis or equivalent)
  • Knowledge of luxury business & distribution model is a plus
  • You are fluent in English and have a good knowledge of French (any additional language is a plus)
  • Are a strong team player & communicator
  • Work well in group problem-solving situations and generate creative solutions
