Master’s degree in food sciences technology, nutrition or related fields
+3 yr. experience product development or recipe management

- Ensure accountability for recipe portfolio compliance to safety, regulatory, internal policies & quality requirements
- Lead cross functional teams in developing compliant formulations with safety, legal, and nutritional requirements and establishing ingredient nutritional composition and compliant purchasing specifications with safety & legal requirements
- Define and clarify all requirements applicable at each stage from product concept to launch and drive R&D Project Managers in defining reference recipes/new ingredients for new briefs
- Contribute actively to define the portfolio evolution strategy in terms of recipes & ingredients for category
- Assess impact & manage changes across portfolio
- Drive compliance improvements & new requirements implementation within category
- Responsible for defining corrective actions in case of noncompliance and accountable for execution
- Establish appropriate formulation policies and development processes using Statistical Design and other concepts
- Define recipe management instructions & requirements for recipe management tools
- Implement and ensure adherence of the approval workflows for ingredients and recipes across the entire organization (AG, R&D, RA, SC, etc.)
- Accountable for compliance KPIs within the category
- Single authority approving all recipes and finished product specifications within a product category
- Identify opportunity of recipe/ingredient optimization and rationalization
- Train Recipe Specialists and Ingredient Experts on different techniques and stages of product development and validation
- Master Degree in Food Sciences or Technology, Nutrition or related fields
- At least 3 years of operational experience in production or QA or successful experience in product development or recipe management in food and/or healthcare industry
- Experience in food product formulation and ingredient knowledge is a plus
- Strong project management skills
- Disciplined, rigorous, strong analytical mindset, pragmatic
- Ability to conceptualize and conciliate different perspectives
- Teaching / coaching and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent in English mandatory and at least one other European language (French, Spanish or German)
