Your role
Are you someone who is keen on working in a challenging and diverse environment, supporting clients and stakeholders by meeting regulatory requirements and market deadlines, whilst engaging in problem management and driving process improvements?

We are looking for a Securities Specialist to:

  • work in a team that maintains a diverse portfolio and interacts with a multitude of functions
  • support the securities admin & shipment as well as the registration process
  • source data for general meetings
  • support client advisors on clients’ registration request as a prerequisite for UBS clients to be able to exercise voting rights
  • carry out monitoring and control tasks
  • suggest and drive process improvements

Your team
You’ll be working in the Securities Physical & Swiss Registered Shares team within Group Operations in Zurich Opfikon. We are responsible for managing all consignments, client registrations and disposals of securities, coupon payments, penny stock as well as automation topics, so that we can balance the workload and meet service levels throughout the year. Collaboration within our team but also client facing units is key to success.

Your expertise

  • solid Operations’ process understanding
  • expertise in processing securities transactions, preferably with exposure to processing consignments (admin & shipment) and registering securities including the related scheduling tasks to enable smooth processing
  • adaptable to working in a dynamic environment and responding to short-notice requests
  • able to work under pressure during AGM high season
  • fluent in English and German (both speaking and writing skills)
