We are a full-service medical communications agency and publishing house in Zurich, London and Berlin looking for an experienced medical writer. Our customers include pharmaceutical, diagnostics and medical device companies. For this reason, our team consists of pharmaceutical and communications specialists. This combination enables us to develop tailored solutions for our customers. H+O communications Ltd. offers you a varied and motivating working environment with challenging projects.


Area of responsibility

  • Writing and developing congress highlights, e-learning modules, medical reports and peer-reviewed publications across a wide range of therapeutic areas
  • Proofreading and copy-editing medical texts
  • Covering international congresses and conducting interviews with KOLs onsite
  • Developing and driving the content a new medical journal targeting Swiss physicians
  • Assisting with the coordination of the review process of submitted articles
  • Implementing measures to simplify review processes
  • Assisting with project management, providing support from the initial concept through to implementation of communications measures
  • Training junior medical writers
  • Developing and managing a pool of freelance medical writers

Profile

  • Master’s degree in medicine, biology, life science or a similar subject
  • Relevant work experience in medical writing
  • Work experience in editing and publishing (optional)
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
  • Proficiency in German (written and spoken)
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Analytical thinking
