What is the Opportunity?

At Ovivo, we offer you the opportunity to expand your skills and professional experience while collaborating with worldwide experts in water treatment.

Students studying in the field of Chemistry / Nanoscience who looking for a full-time Internship or a Bachelor / Master Thesis project with a duration of approximately 6 months are welcome to apply for an opportunity to work within our research projects for ultrapure water and wastewater treatment in the Innovation Department

The role is based in Witterswil, Solothurn, Switzerland.

What is the role?
  • Design and implementation of experiments in laboratory-scale and pilot-scale for industrial water treatment
  • Construction and evaluation of new water treatment technologies (e.g. UV, ion exchange, filtration)
  • Development and Optimization of existing treatment processes and plant components
  • Material science analysis (polymeric material purities, leach outs, ...)
  • Analytical chemistry for trace analytics in water (i.e. ICP-MS, GC, LC-OCD, ...)
