Do you believe that interactive IoT sensors enable companies to make the right decision faster? Are you able to work independently, solution-oriented, and success-driven? Then you are a perfect fit for our Working Student Data Engineering/IoT role at Axpo Hydro.
In this position, you will work closely with our customers and you will connect the new power plants to our Hydro Cloud.

Working Student Data Engineering/IoT @Hydro

What you will do
  • Connect new power plants to our Hydro Cloud by working closely with control system suppliers, OT security, and power plant operators
  • You will develop and implement a concept to install IoT sensors in our power plants and integrate them into our data platform
  • Connect data sources to our Hydro Cloud, this involves setting up ETL pipelines in Azure Data Factory and developing a db schema
  • You are responsible for the maintenance of the data pipelines and you will continuously improve their availability
What you bring & who you are
  • Intermediate knowledge of SQL
  • Advanced coding skills in Pyhton
  • Experience with git in a multi-developer environment
  • Experience with working with cloud services (preferably Azure)
