Hive, an innovative and rapidly growing Swiss startup, active in the field of Supply Chain & Logistics Innovation, is seeking an experienced, creative and result oriented Full Stack Developer to join our tech team.

We are seeking a skilled individual with a history in the web development. The successful candidate will help create new web services and maintain existing ones. You will build the UI, API for various web services, internal tools and 3rd party APIs. You will integrate as part of the Cloud Platform team and you will be working closely with our UX & UI Designer, DevOps and Embedded Software team to continuously test and deploy updates.

Skills requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar scientific subject; or a comparable experience.

• 3+ years’ experience of hands-on, confirmed experience working with Node.js, VUE.js or React.

• Experience designing and implementing RESTful backend services.

• Experience with PostgreSQL and automated testing (Robot).

• You are comfortable with the Agile methodology, and you have a good command of tools such as Jira, Confluence and Git.

• Practice in clean code, pair programming, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.

• Ability to deal with ambiguity and adapt into a fast-paced environment.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Highly proactive, independent and able to work under pressure.

• Fluency in English and French (written and spoken) is mandatory.

Nice to have : Experience working with Web hooks, Timescale.

Job Responsibilities:

• You will work on improving the existent Cloud Platform using micro service architecture.

• You will collaborate on the end-to-end design and implementation of a web-based platform, including data modelling, systems architecture, data security, access controls, back and front-end architecture, user experience, deployment, automation, and monitoring.

• You own your solution and will be responsible for development to delivery to operations in a DevOps environment.

• You will work with a group of engineers to design and develop a web-based platform of tools and services in support of the IoT devices we produce internally.

• You will develop web applications that manage large datasets of recorded sensor data, run

experiments and batch data processing at scale, and analyse large result sets.

• Maintain a high level of data integrity, quality and security checks.

• Develop data pipelines and RESTful services that are distributed, robust and highly performant.
