We are now seeking a highly skilled Global IFRS Expert to take on the role as Senior Manager Center Of Excellence IFRS and lead our efforts in ensuring compliance across all our global operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in IFRS, external financial reporting, accounting and consolidation, and will be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external auditors to ensure adherence to IFRS.



Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain global IFRS policies and procedures
  • Monitor and interpret changes in IFRS regulations and standards, and provide guidance to management and other stakeholders
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and accuracy of financial reporting across the Group
  • Advise on accounting treatment for complex transactions
  • Lead the annual Financial Report process
  • Lead IFRS training initiatives for global finance and accounting teams
  • Collaborate with external auditors to ensure adherence to IFRS requirements
  • Participate in industry associations and regulatory bodies to stay up-to-date on IFRS developments and best practices

Requirements

  • A degree in Accounting or related field; CPA or ACCA certification preferred
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in accounting, auditing, or financial reporting, with a focus on IFRS
  • Deep understanding of IFRS regulations, accounting principles, and reporting requirements
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams and driving change initiatives
