For our Marketing, Sales, and Product Management team, understanding the full potential of our technology and the trend in our markets is highly rewarding. Working within the Global Product Group Automation and Communication, you will define and develop Automation Applications and Solutions for our global customer base. As part of the automation platform & solutions global product management team, you’re the thought leader and key contributor to meet the automation application business objectives of our unit.

Responsibilities:

Lead the established Product Line Automation Platforms and Solutions with 4-5 Global Product Managers (CH, SE, IN) as direct reports Accountable for the long-term profitable growth and marketing of the Product Line offering to target market segments according to market needs and Product Group strategy and Business Unit targets. Lead market intelligence analysis. Understands and defines current market segmentation and related product/system/service positioning. Identifies potential gaps in portfolio, both against competition and new market opportunity. Own the business plan and market specification for the product/system/service that creates maximal value and supports sustainable growth. Lead life cycle management process, analyses current product/system/service, defines and tracks performance metrics, profitability, plans appropriate measures (e.g. enhancements, cost reductions, phase-outs) and makes decisions on product/system/service obsolescence and end-of life to ensure current and future market requirements are met and maximize profitability. Your background:

MSc/BSc in Power Systems, Industrial Automation Technologies or equivalent. At least 8 years of hands-on experience with deep understanding for automation solution developments, efficient system engineering in customer automation and communication system integration projects Proven leadership and success in similar positions preferably in the power industry Personable, pro-active, professional and able to demonstrate full commitment to exceptional customer care and service in all activities. Compelling communication, negotiation and presentation skills incl. e.g., able to give keynote speeches in customer workshops and conferences. Proven product management experience in requirements analysis, management, and change management. Strong background in international automation related standards and regulations such as IEC, IEEE and Cyber Security Professional English (C2); German and other languages would be a plus
