In this fascinating role, we are looking for a dynamic person to join our successful Data Center Sales team - we want you to lead the development of our SI message to this exciting industry, to guide our colleagues globally in marketing best practice and to support our sales enablement programs with compelling propositions. Together we can bring our offerings to the next level!

The role

  • As the global Marketing Leader for the Datacenter Sales Vertical, you own and develop the vertical marketing plan to include planning, thought leadership, market intelligence and market messaging
  • Collect and provide market information and trend insights to the SI Vertical Markets (SVM) and our Business Unit stakeholders
  • Define comprehensive sales enablement and support needs, in order to maximize success and customer wins in our target segments
  • Look into the future. The derived customer feedback and market trends influence our portfolio roadmaps, by paying particular attention to our sustainability and digitalization offers
  • Lead and support activities to drive our key messages across all channels, in conjunction with our Smart Infrastructure Communications team
  • Communicate and train Regional Marketing teams on our vertical strategy and Go-To-Market plans
  • Maintain vertical offer presentation(s) to comprehend the full Siemens potential
  • Close collaboration with our Communications colleagues to ensure we have optimal channels for messaging , both externally and internally.
Hard Skills

  • Our future colleague offers up to 10 years of practical experience when it comes to B2B marketing. You are knowledgeable in digital- and classical marketing alike, and Portfolio management is something you have encountered in the past
  • Your knowledge about hardware- and software products, ideally in an industrial environment, provides you with the right grasp of our technical context
  • You are proud of your track record of delivering multi-year integrated marketing plans. You can see the big picture, yet there is passion in working out the details as well
  • Ideally you worked in multinational companies before. Your stakeholder management is excellent, as you can balance many topics with different groups at the same time.
Soft Skills

  • A Customer first attitude is one of the most important requirements in this role. You are intrinsically motivated to deliver the best service and support to our customers
  • You are proactive and see yourself as a team player, as your work is an important contributor to our success in the data center market.
  • Comfortable as an ambassador for the SVM at events and customer settings.
  • Intercultural awareness to work globally, and the flexibility for global travels (around 20%)
