Job Summary:
The Marketing Manager is responsible for leading the creative workflow in commercial tenders and customer presentations and overseeing the development and implementation of marketing projects across the organization.
As a member of the Branding and Marketing Communications team, you will aim to deliver design-based solutions that ensure up to date and consistent messages to customers. The role must ensure a certain level of standardization is maintained, both visually and content wise, while reflecting customization to capture the unique essence of the customer’s own brand.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Commercial
  • Design and develop customer-tailored visually captivating commercial proposals and presentations.
  • Work with commercial teams and tender leads to define the structure and comprehensive storyline of presentations and customer proposals.
  • Work closely with the Design & Brand Manager to ensure gategroup’s corporate identity and visual standards are properly reflected in customer presentations and other collaterals.
  • Support the Customer Experience team in developing the necessary content that describe our product and service offering tailored to the customer needs and requests. Work with subject matter experts from different business areas and brands to ensure consistency in the messages provided internally and externally.
  • Ensure our customer proposals showcases our USP and differentiators.
  • Manage the commercial design project pipeline in Salesforce by analyzing, assessing, and prioritizing projects, ensuring deadlines and standards are met.
  • Guide, train, and coach the global commercial teams in the delivery of documents in line with internal (gategroup) and external (customer) standards and lead efforts to continuously increase awareness in the global commercial community around standards, best practices, key updates, and latest customer deliverables.
  • Provide business support on areas such as desk research, ideation, content generation and event management for ad-hoc requests when working with the Customer Experience team on customer related projects.
Marketing & Branding
  • Drive the conceptualization and creation of corporate and customer-focused marketing materials.
  • Project planning and execution: Develop, execute, and monitor marketing projects across various brands, ensuring timely delivery and consistent messaging.
  • Collaborate with gategroup’s key brands (Gate Gourmet, gateretail, deSter, Servair) as well as internal stakeholders such as the Customer Experience team and Corporate Communications, to ensure integrated and consistent marketing efforts.
  • Support with the creation of high-quality, engaging, and on-brand marketing content for various platforms, such as websites, social media, emails, and print materials.
  • Plan and coordinate events, or other promotional activities to boost brand visibility and engagement.
  • Liaise with external partners, such as creative agencies, paid media, and other suppliers, to manage the project pipelines and oversee the creation of marketing collaterals.
  • Provide graphic design support to the Design & Brand Manager for customer dedicated sessions and ad-hoc requests/initiatives from group functions and regional teams.
Qualifications
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Marketing Communications with Project Management and Design experience.
Work Experience:
  • Minimum 8 years of marketing & communications experience in a global matrix organization.
  • Strong combination of design, project management, content creation and communication skills.
  • Experience in creating and presenting visually appealing presentations to internal and external customers, including C-level.
  • Very strong project management, coordination, and cross-functional management skills.
  • Experience in digital marketing and social media is a plus.
Technical Skills:
  • In-dept knowledge in Microsoft Office, expert in Power Point
  • Graphic Design expertise in Adobe CC Software (InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop).
Language / Communication Skills:
  • Fluency in spoken and written English any additional languages is a plus.
  • Self-motivated, able to work with high level of ambiguity and on tight deadlines while managing multiple projects.
  • Self-reliant to execute and deliver work with a high degree of autonomy.
  • Team-player with ability to establish strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders in a multicultural environment
