Indirect Purchasing (IPU) Mission is to add value to Autoliv by managing the purchasing activities of indirect material and services by maximizing total value of ownership while acting according to our company’s code of conduct and stakeholders needs.

Roadmap to reach the green energy targets in our own production
  • Map all ongoing activities in Autoliv divisions today relating to energy in our own production and work out how to coordinate with them.
  • Create in cooperation with Divisions an articulated roadmap for sequencing/prioritizing all Autoliv sites to reach the targets for fossil-free electricity and fuels. This includes ensuring all customer requirements are also met.
  • From a holistic perspective, collect all requirements needed to reach Autoliv’s goals. This includes long term general CO2 targets, but also customer requirements.
  • Facilitate alignment on CO2 emission targets within the global setup.
  • Responsibility for the governance structure that can report on the progress of this sequencing strategy towards Autoliv’s targets.
Sourcing Strategy for green energy
  • Create a Company-wide fact based sourcing strategy to optimize the commercial and technical setup for supply of green energy to all Autoliv sites. This includes mix of alternative technologies, power purchase agreements, and other financial instruments.
  • Optimize the strategy on cost, risk and quality while at the same time guarantee to meet all carbon reduction and sustainability targets.
  • Lead a “Green Energy Sourcing wave” in line with our global way of working. This means accountability for leading the process from running ideation sessions in the divisions including divisional buyers and stakeholders, all the way to implementation, i.e. to ensure that the sourcing pipeline is defined and delivered.
General
  • Engage with multiple levels of the organization, external energy experts and suppliers to troubleshoot problems, ensure mitigation, and project implementation on time.
  • Maintain and track project information in terms of time budget and quality
  • Identify problems including root cause analysis
  • Preparation of agendas & contents for management meetings and steering committees.
  • Report direct line to the IPU director global category management.
Qualifications And Education Requirements
  • Completed university degree in Engineering, e.g. Electrical, Environmental or related fields.
  • 5-10 years experience as leader within global category management.
  • 2-5 years’ experience in Project Management in a multinational company.
  • Holistic analytical skills and able to build new structure and drive for results.
  • Self-motivated to drive projects with focus on sustainability, innovation and cost.
  • Very good skills in MS Office products, especially in Excel
  • Fluent in English
  • Capability to independently drive strategic initiatives and develop solutions
  • Positive attitude and proactive approach, ability to work under pressure
  • Willingness to travel
The work location for this position will be Autoliv’s office in Zug, Switzerland.
