gMG Lauch Lead (Neurology)

This is what you will do:

  • Actively engage and collaborate with VISION team to ensure International markets’ needs and priorities are understood, provide and coordinate cross functional input into the global launch plan for Ultomiris in gMG.
  • In collaboration with the International cross-functional team and the key markets, develop the Int’l Launch plan for Ultomiris in gMG to ensure a broad access and a rapid uptake across geographies.
  • Execute the International launch plan, including development, approvals and roll-out of commercial materials.

  • Support countries to prepare for launch and coordinate launch readiness activities in alignment with PROPEL model.

  • Has a strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, strong business acumen and strategic thinking, and anticipates related trends and risks
  • Adjusts quickly to changes in market, economic and policy conditions to ensure Alexion’s future plans remain well aligned
  • Sees ahead to future possibilities and translates them into growth strategies
  • Engages the matrix team across International and Countries in identifying key requirements for launch and growth

Deliver Results

  • Brings together and leads the XFT to develop the cross-functional launch strategy, in particular ensuring the right label and access is achieved in the markets
  • Works closely with the global team and stakeholders across International to deliver the launch plan
  • Participation into LRP, demand forecasting and launch planning across International Markets
  • Works in close partnership with other International Leaders (Value & Access, Medical, Regulatory, Legal, Finance etc.) to ensure integrated plans and aligned implementation for launch
  • Leads and executes the International strategic and tactical plan

You will need to have:

10+ years in pharmaceutical or biotech industry in roles encompassing strategic pre-launch planning and launch, with global/regional/local experience

  • Launch experience, as a lead role; regional experience as well as local experience is highly preferred
  • Strong scientific aptitude coupled with market access understanding highly preferred
  • Proven solution orientation to enable for successful launch preparation in ex-US markets by leveraging own expertise as well as the best of Alexion overall
  • Strong and thorough understanding of the diverse requirements of international markets
  • Analytical and fact-based approach to build common understanding and alignment on International market needs and requirements
  • Positive and value-focused mindset while keeping patient needs in mind
  • Excellent communications skills across a diverse set of stakeholders (commercial, clinical, medical, etc.)
  • Good financial acumen
  • Strong Project Management skills and the ability to coordinate and drive complex projects through the matrix
