Our structure of Early Learning School, Junior School, Middle School and Senior School means that every year group works with professionals who specialize and enjoy working with the students in their care.The unique St George’s philosophy and our formula for success are based to a large degree on the quality and depth of our International curricula (Cambridge International Primary School, Cambridge Lower, IGCSE & IB Diploma), cultural and sporting activities and especially our dynamic and creative teaching staff, fully recognizing that what goes on in the classroom between teacher and student strongly influences the success of the school.https://www.stgeorges.ch/St George’s International School is seeking to appoint a Graduate Assistant for its Boarding department who will work as part of a team to ensure the safety and well-being of the students from about 60 different nationalities in the house whilst maintaining the positive ethos and core values of the school at all times. We are looking for an educationally qualified person who is passionate about children/teenagers and committed to striving for excellence, continuous improvement, inspiring and enthusing students.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Working as part of a team to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the students in the house,
  • Supporting the team to ensure the smooth running of the boarding house,
  • Assisting with extra-curricular activities,
  • Playing an active role in the weekend activity programme,
  • Supporting students during study time,
  • Helping with airport transfers at key times of the term,
  • Assisting with any other duties that the school might reasonably ask.

  • Ability to understand and enjoy multi culturalism

  • IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office

  • Driving license
