The programme

This is a unique 24-month experience, where we offer you a permanent position and a specific programme with rotations in different teams to build your expertise and professional skills.

Based on a permanent contract, our graduate programme includes on- and off-the-job components, placing the emphasis on teamwork but also exploring your individual skillset, furthering your development and setting specific objectives. Your training will be complemented by a professional certification relevant to the area of business of your assignment (in this case AZEK – CIWM, CFA or FRM).

Your role

As part of the Risk Management team, you will contribute to the risk management for wealth management activities globally through the deployment of the operational risk management framework.

You will help to identify, analyse, assess, monitor and report risks for our wealth management activities. You will also monitor the business-line risk profile in line with the risk tolerance and risk limits defined. You will be involved in incident management by performing root-cause analysis to prevent occurrences. In addition, you will coordinate an effective internal control system globally by assisting with a risk and control self-assessment exercise and leading critical reviews on the control environment of key processes.

You will be able to rotate within different units covering risk management at Pictet.

Your profile
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Management from a top business school or an equivalent institution.
  • At least six months’ but less than two years’ experience in a multicultural environment or in the financial industry.
  • A strong interest in the operational risk, compliance & control area.
  • Perseverant, and able to operate autonomously while being a strong team -player.
  • Skilled user of common IT applications ( MS Office ).
  • Fluent in French and English; any other major language would be an asset.
  • International exposure in a work-related, academic or personal context.
  • Involvement in extracurricular activities (academic, athletic, charitable, etc.) would be a plus.
  • Good communication skills and an ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
  • Residence in Switzerland required.
