The programme

Pictet Wealth Management (PWM)combines more than 200 years of Swiss banking heritage with global investment expertise. The Partner-owned financial services group offers a comprehensive service for wealthy individuals and families including discretionary and advisory investment solutions and family office services.

We are looking for a talented and multi-skilled person to join our Family Advisory team. The team is responsible for helping PWM top clients and their families collectively design their family governance model.

We offer a 24-month programme on a permanent contract, during which you will be part of our Wealth Solutions and Family Advisory team. The programme includes extensive cutting-edge soft skills training, a post grad course in family governance, as well as three rotations in other units to broaden your understanding of the business. On completion of the programme you will take on a full-fledged Family Advisory Project Lead role for Pictet Wealth Management (PWM).

The team takes a multidisciplinary approach drawing on law, psychology, design thinking and technology, and is constantly trying out new ideas. The successful applicant will be an intrapreneur at heart, curious, open-minded and driven.

Your role

You will be a key part of the team working on special initiatives/projects ranging from designing new family workshops (live or virtual), coming up with innovative ways to raise awareness/knowledge of family governance topics, developing the current offering and co-creating differentiating concepts and content for exclusive events.

You will be responsible for taking ownership and driving the process for these initiatives/projects to go forward. In doing so, you will be working transversally with other internal stakeholders and business lines.

You will start with a first rotation within the Family Advisory and Wealth Solutions team to get you up to speed before pursuing your graduate programme with three rotations in other teams and/or business lines in order to learn about other Pictet services, products and client segments. You will build up your network in the bank, deepen your understanding of its businesses and be ready to take on your Project Lead role.

Your profile
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Psychology or Management from a top business school or an equivalent qualification.
  • At least six months’ but less than two years’ experience working for an international company or in a multicultural environment.
  • Outstanding analytical skills and inclination for problem-solving.
  • Knowledge and practice of design thinking and collaborative intelligence methodologies.
  • Expertise on Miro or other virtual collaborative software.
  • Thorough in your work, able to operate on your own without difficulty and with a persevering nature.
  • A strong team player with a definite flair for communication and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Skilled user of common IT applications (MS Office); advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Perfect command of written and spoken English and French, any other language being an advantage.
  • International exposure in a work-related, academic or personal context.
  • Involvement in extracurricular activities (academic, athletic, charitable, etc.) would be a plus.
  • Good communication skills and an ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
  • Residence in Switzerland required.
