MAIN TASKS

As Group Controller in the Operations Controlling team, you are responsible for a timely, high-quality and efficient handling of reporting and closing processes. As business partner, you advice and support the Group Executive Board, Plant Controllers as well as Plant Managers. This includes the following activities in particular:
  • Preparation of personnel and social reporting, as well as support in product cost controlling and purchasing controlling
  • Performing target vs. actual analyses and derive corresponding recommendations for action and measures to improve the efficiency and profitability
  • Development and maintenance of group standards as well as optimizing the IT systems in use
  • Contact person for the plant controllers in all matters relating to cost accounting, incl. regular trainings, workshops, one-to-one exchanges and company visits in order to ensure quality with regard to the concepts and reports used throughout the Group
  • Support in preparing the planning processes (budget, forecast and mid-term planning), and in analysing the planning data
  • Carrying out profitability analyses for investment decisions and R&D projects
  • Support in various finance-related projects

PROFILE

  • Higher education (university, university of applied sciences) with a focus on finance/controlling
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in controlling, ideally as a plant controller of an industrial company
  • Proactive and energetic personality with a team player mentality
  • Analytical way of thinking and a strong focus in process and system optimization
  • Experience with SAP Business Warehouse and SAP FI/CO modules is an advantage, strong knowledge of Excel is expected
  • Languages: German & English (both on proficient level)
  • Willingness to travel
  • Project experience in the finance area is an advantage
