We are seeking a Head of Corporate Legal for a leading Medical Devices company in Switzerland. The company unites people with diverse backgrounds, plays a vital role in transforming people’s lives, and solves some of health care’s most pressing challenges. As Head of Corporate Legal, you will play a visible and important role in ensuring that the company’s corporate governance, securities and equity issues comply with applicable laws and regulations. You will directly report to the Group General Counsel.

Key Tasks/responsibilities
  • Advises the Board of Directors and committees on corporate governance as well as legal affairs
  • Provides high-quality legal advice on laws and regulations; prepares and manages regulatory filings, corporate governance policies, and public filings in accordance with Swiss Stock Exchange laws
  • Exerts thought leadership and supports affiliates in legal matters; oversees and conducts analysis on complex issues
  • Develops a constructive working relationship with other entities and supports the finance, tax, compliance, and data privacy teams; supervises and mentors staff
  • Contributes to the effective management of the company; carries out other assignments as determined by the Group General Counsel
Experience & Qualifications:
  • You are a lawyer with working experience acquired in an international corporate setting or law firm(Swiss attorney at law is preferred).
  • You have management experience and proven team building and leadership skills
  • You have comprehensive legal knowledge relevant to the activities and operations of a Swiss publicly listed company, including general commercial law, corporate law and legal issues pertaining to SIX listing requirements
  • You have excellent drafting skills, communication skills, and attention to detail
  • You are fluent in English and German, both written and verbal
  • You are highly organized, efficient and hard-working with the ability to drive projects and deliver against set timelines
