Head of Human Capital Solutions, DACH - Flexible on locations within DACH region

Aon is looking for a Head of Human Capital Solutions- DACH

As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions.

Your impact as a Head of Human Capital Solutions- DACH
  • Be the fully accountable lead for the entire Human Capital Solution business in the DACH region;
  • Devise a winning strategy, aligned to Aon and Human Capital Solution strategies, to gain market share, and grow our business;
  • Partner closely with regional Human Capital Solution practice leaders for expertise in the DACH Human Capital Solution practice lines. Assessments, Data and Performance & Analytics colleagues on the DACH team will have dual reporting lines in our helix organization structure;
  • Build a diverse team that you enable to execute the strategy;
  • Financially run the business, including planning and forecasting;
  • Be recognized and valued by the C-suite for bringing broad-based business and human capital knowledge;
  • Lead consulting assignments as a work-stream leader on large/complex projects requiring multiple team members - assess client needs, develop materials to lead client design meetings, facilitate meetings, and design and implement solutions;
  • Interact directly with client contacts to proactively address client needs and resolve client issues in a timely manner;
  • Use personal/professional relationships to generate business and revenue;
  • Participate in creating business development strategies;
  • Identify current and future needs among our client base to pursue new or expanded work;
  • Lead the development of proposals and sales efforts;
  • Contribute to the development of innovative client solutions, including new plan design or implementation approaches;
  • Promote brand awareness by writing articles and presenting at industry events;
  • Share subject matter expertise on technical issues, business development techniques, and/or project management skills with colleagues;
  • Monitor employee performance, including day-to-day feedback, annual performance reviews and pay/promotion recommendations;
  • Offer input on staffing needs to meet business demands and guide the recruitment and on-boarding or new team members;
  • Participate in setting strategy, annual budgets and staffing plans as a member of our regional leadership team.
You Bring Knowledge and Expertise
  • Expert knowledge of human capital topics including rewards, talent and performance;
  • Ability to deploy that knowledge to build winning strategies, craft impactful programs, and implement with impact;
  • Advanced consultative skills, including relationship building, process definition and meeting facilitation;
  • A track record of selling, managing, and delivering large comprehensive consulting projects in a consulting firm;
  • Sophisticated project management skills, written and verbal communication skills (including at least German and English);
  • Management of a strong network both internally and externally to develop relationships and opportunities;
  • Management of a diverse team of solution line leaders, consultants and analysts;
  • Financial management of a successful business, including short and long term planning, strategy development and execution.
