HEAD OF IT

You will oversee a multi-national, multi-cultural team within Switzerland at this Private Bank in the heart of Zurich, Switzerland.

Having recently completed a massive overhaul you will be going into a modernized cloud environment and oversee 3 department heads, who themselves are very savvy and capable.

Your Key Responsibiltiies
  • Lead and manage the IT department with clear structure and procedures
  • Manage and develop relationships with internal and external senior stakeholders, vendors management out-sourced development, and optimization of contractual conditions enabling delivery of service at best quality and cost.
  • As a Head of department, provide support for the organization as a whole, ensuring operation and reliability of different systems as well as optimal service to users
  • Coordinate with functional reporting lines within the Group to development plans, business proposals, budgets, delivery time estimates
Key Attributes Of Candidates
  • Around 8 years experience in IT within the banking industry, 5 years in management
  • Experience with Temenos Core Banking System and/or Triple A
  • Good knowledge about the cloud environment
  • Strong vendor management skills
Other Important Attributes
  • Positive and flexible change-the-bank mindset
  • Strong understanding of software development and project management
  • Must be pro-active and a team player, fostering team building
  • Sensible with internal clients and strong communicator to both technical and non-technical employees
  • Candidate must be fluent in English
